directionless

Now that I've graduated and all, I think almost every person I encounter has been asking me what the next step is. Maybe they're asking because they genuinely are interested in my future, or maybe they just have nothing better to ask and default to the "so..what are you gonna do with that now?" I know it sounds super selfish and mean of me, but I haaateee having to answer that question, mostly because honesty, I really don't know. I just don't know. Besides, what I keep telling myself is that it's not so much 'what I do' as it is 'who I am becoming'....right?
