Pastor JR Vassar of Apostles NYC has been preaching on a sermon series titled "Choose" for the beginning of 2011, in which he asks us to choose the things that please God as we start this new year. I must say, this series has been excellent so far, and I would highlyyy encourage everyone to listen to it. The one that spoke to me the most was the "covenant vs. consumerism" one. Actually, "community vs. radical individualism" was really powerful too.
