Several people have told me this in the past few months... There's something about me -- maybe my Asian upbringing of valuing sacrifice and letting others have the bigger portions, this twisted conception I have that suffering is glorified, or my innate desire to achieve and perfect things -- that keeps me from really finding freedom and joy in the grace God so lovingly wants to bestow upon me...
