So before I went to Shanghai to study abroad, I remember Sherry telling me that I would have an awesome first 2-3 weeks because of the "honeymoon" newness of a new life there, and then I would be hit with a severe bout of homesickness when all of that wore off.
I think that 2-3 week mark is again proving to be a good time frame measure of when that initial, abrupt change starts to wear off and I'm left with the reality of life as it is.
